Job Description

Maternal Fetal Medicine

The UAB Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology announces the opening of a replacement position to bolster its Maternal Fetal Medicine portfolio. Recruitment is for an open rank/open tenure applicant with a M.D., D.O. and/or M.D./PhD degree at all ranks that has a sustained record of peer-reviewed scholarships; preferably evidenced by significant research productivity and that is a well-respected clinician with significant high-risk obstetrics experience in both leadership and management.

The UAB Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology currently ranks as the 10th highest NIH-funded Ob/Gyn program and the institution as a whole is ranked 22nd. The Department is very committed to growing its current research, education, and implementation efforts in Maternal Fetal Medicine women's health. Required Qualifications

The successful applicant will hold a M.D., D.O., or Ph.D. in Obstetrics and Gynecology; Osteopathic Medicine; Women's Health and/or Women's Education; Nursing; Public Health; or a closely comparable field.
