Recruiter - Sterling, VA

Reston Limousine is a 30 year old family owned, employee focused passenger transportation company and the largest in the Washington, DC area. We are growing and searching for an experienced Recruiter to join our team.

We are seeking a recruiter who is focused on identification, assessment, and acquisition of employees at all levels. This role will own the full cycle recruitment process and lead talent acquisition efforts specifically related to the attraction and recruitment of CDL drivers.


  • Recruitment and sourcing of CDL drivers through various technologies, mediums, and comprehensive lead generation
  • Develop and maintain a full understanding of the regional driver labor market
  • Utilize multiple sourcing methods and processes including job boards and social networking
  • Develop networks with external sources to continually improve sourcing opportunities
  • Create and maintain a talent pool of qualified candidates, foster ongoing communication to nurture pipelines of talent
  • Conduct phone screens and/or face-to-face interviews to ensure the most qualified candidates are referred to the hiring manager for their consideration
  • Ensure facilitated interview selection process to elicit feedback
  • Maintain and promote DOT compliance during recruitment and hiring process
  • Ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations
  • Establish and build working relationships and partnerships with hiring teams, candidates, and internal partners
  • Proactively identify and educate managers on factors that could impact the hiring process
  • Provide excellent customer service to business stakeholders, ensuring responsive communication and guidance throughout the recruitment process
  • Show respect and sensitivity for cultural differences in all phases of recruitment process
  • Participate in projects that support our short and/or long-term functional objectives

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2 or more years of experience recruiting for CDL Drivers
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations a plus!
  • Demonstrated ability to fill requisitions in a timely manner with quality hires
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and fully utilize ATS functionality, including candidate management, requisition tracking and reporting
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities
  • Ability to build relationships with a diverse group of internal and external partners
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Capacity to multitask and handle high levels of stress.
