Customer Service Representative-Property and Casualty


Job Details

The Customer Service Representative works under direct supervision to process, update, and maintain property and casualty records and applications, to respond to customer questions by performing the following duties.

  • Provides telephone customer service by explaining coverage and premium information; handles endorsement requests and policy orders.
  • Submits renewal applications to carriers.
  • Establishes and monitors pending files for submissions, quotations, policy orders, endorsement requests, and correspondence.
  • Prepares quotations, binders and related correspondence.
  • Assists with Personal Lines rating/customer service.
  • Prepares billings for commercial package policies.
  • Performs miscellaneous office support duties.
  • Process Workers Compensation audits.


Requirements

Required Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Required Work Experience: 1-3 years customer service experience. Personal or Commercial lines license preferred.

Technology Skills: EPIC Agency Management system, Microsoft Office

Required skills or traits for the position: Organizational; leadership; self-Motivated, trustworthy, high ethical standards.

Specialized Training/Certifications: Commercial Lines agent license is required with 12 months.
