**QC - Inventory Control Specialist**

The QC - Inventory Control Specialist monitors inventory, test samples and processes to ensure timely resolution of problems and prompt delivery to customers. Coordinates and executes review, implementation, and receipt of labeling materials. Monitors environmental control schedule, reviews, trends, and archives environmental records.

***This is a 1st shift position Monday-Friday. This position does not support report work and is located in Kettering, OH.**

**Essential Job Functions**

* Functions as a Quality Control Specialist.

* Monitors inventory to identify grafts that are at hold status or nearing expiration. Investigates and resolves to obtain a final inventory status in a timely manner.

* Monitors Quality Control test samples, including dose audit tissues, to ensure samples are submitted and results are received within defined timeframes.

* Monitors receipt and archival of Manufacturing paperwork.

* Manages and reviews resolution of issues found at Quality Control review; elevates unresolved issues to management when needed.

* Schedules label implementation in coordination with Project Managers and other departments.

* Coordinates labeling material approval, implementation, and archival.

* Performs inspection of incoming labeling materials with support from QC staff and ensures inspection documents are archived.

* Performs review of new revisions of package inserts for Manufacturing supplies; identifies any changes and assesses impact in consultation with QRA.

* Monitors environmental control schedule in coordination with QC Management. Reviews, trends, and archives environmental records.

* Creates and revises procedures related to label control and environmental monitoring.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Associates or better.

**Preferred**

Bachelors or better.

**Experience**

**Required**

Associates degree and three years experience in quality control, quality assurance, clinical laboratory, tissue banking, or pharmaceutical/other manufacturing environment.

Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.

Color vision is required.

**Preferred**

Bachelors degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Life Sciences, or Biomedical Engineering.

Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) certification.

Experience in analyzing process opportunities and developing and implementing strategies for improvement.

Experience in quality control, quality assurance, clinical laboratory, blood/tissue banking, or pharmaceutical/other manufacturing environment.

Knowledge and understanding of GMP requirements and industry standards.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
