**Job Summary:**
This position is responsible for storage of customer products requiring specific environmental conditions. Duties involve cleaning of work areas or environmentally controlled chambers, couriering, shipping, receiving and documenting inventory of customer product. Abide by area work instructions to ensure customer product is stored appropriately and moves to/from customer and to/from Masy with appropriate controls. Accuracy, attention to detail and GDP/GMP compliance are key requirements. This position is challenged with a daily routine that changes based on customer demand and generally takes place in a fast-pace work environment. This may be a full time or part time position.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Handle product appropriately and enter information electronically into applicable system
* Closely monitor temperature in chambers during addition and removal of product
* Clean the Biorepository facility, work area, vehicles, and/or chambers
* Perform courier runs and maintain temperature during the run
* Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) to complete documentation
* Receive product in accordance with company and customer requirements
* Document the inventory of customer products
* Ship product according to company and customer requirements
* Communicate discrepancies with customers as necessary
* Document time and materials to support billing
* Escort customers, as needed
* Report questionable issues to management for evaluation and determination
* Operate temperature monitoring devices
* Become a member of the on call monitoring team, if eligible
* Understand and comply with Safety Data Sheets
* All other duties as assigned
Requirements
**Education, Experience and Qualifications:**
HS diploma or GED equivalent
GMP/GDP Knowledge
Honesty, Integrity and Confidentiality
DOT Training
IATA Training
Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Strong Organizational Skills
Strong with Windows Office
**Physical Demands:**
Reaching, talking, hearing and use of hands is regularly required
Standing, walking and sitting is frequently required
Stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing is occasionally required
**Work Environment:**
Office, lab and or extreme cold ( non-weather) Warehouse ambient to -80C regularly
May be exposed to wet or humid, and/or near moving mechanical parts frequently
May be exposed to high places and/or outdoor weather conditions occasionally
May be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and /or vibration occasionally
