Inventory Specialist

RGL Logistics, the company that helps you reinvent logistics by asking 'WHAT IF' to come up with creative solutions that simplify, improve and slash waste, has an opening for a full-time Inventory Specialist in our Green Bay location. This position will work Monday-Friday first shift, with flexibility to cover for backup shifts as needed.

**Mainly be responsible for:**

* Provide support to the overall operation in Green Bay by ensuring accurate inventory cycle counts, customer service, quality control, and administrative support

* Conducts both scheduled and unscheduled cycle counts of items on hand.

* Researches inventory discrepancies between the Warehouse Management System, Customer Database and physical counts.

* Ensures that all open issues are fully resolved in a timely manner.

* Assists with disposition and documentation of damaged and missing items as needed.

* Conducts quality audits of material and handling processes.

* Processes pictures and data to provide feedback on operating procedures

* Imports data into company and customer systems.

* Follows all safety rules and guidelines as it pertains to the position.

* Required to qualify and provide back-up support to other administrative positions as assigned.

* Makes inventory corrections and adjustments to the WMS system.

* Reviews daily reports designed to identify discrepancies and ensure corrective action is initiated

* Handles communication with customers on sending out inventory reports and requested documents

* Any other duties as assigned by management

**Qualifications:**

* Detail oriented and exceptionally attentive to accuracy

* High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow through

* Interpersonal skills with Customer Service focus

* Ability to learn quickly

* Effective analytical and problem-solving skills

* Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills

* SAP experience preferred

* Must be flexible & adaptable to changing business needs

* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

* Able to lift 40 lbs.

* Warehouse or Transportation experience preferred

* Prior Inventory control experience is required

* A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency is required.

* Background in Inventory Control, Warehouse administration or related experience is required.

* Must have ability to travel to other warehouses in the area and wear safety equipment.
