Position Title: QA Reconciler Position Reports to: QA Manager

Schedule: A Days - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and alternate Saturday, 6am to 6pm

Position Summary

Under direct supervision, responsible for following established methods of Quality reconciliation as part of their responsibilities, the employee will use the appropriate systems and activity support and complete a thorough reconciliation, document evidence of the reconciliation and explain any reconciling items. Reconciliations may be completed using systematic or manual methods. Most of the employee's interactions will be with his/her internal team and line of business partners

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs inventory reconciliation by verifying the accuracy of the finished product count using a mathematical equation.

Completes documentation of products final release into finished goods inventory in warehouse

Investigates and corrects packing error(s) when found.

Completes the necessary documentation for inventory reconciliation, label mix-ups, and other quality related inspections.

Performs verification process for designated clients to ensure there are no label mix-ups.

Operates motorized material handling equipment (hand truck) when required.

Operates Lift Assist equipment when removing packed cartons from conveyor.

Reviews specification sheets to determine clients requirements.

Operates Autoscan equipment when required.

Assesses product being handled for any printing, finishing or packaging imperfections.

Inspects identified product for defects.

Completes Hold Tags and NCR reports if required.

Cleans work area and equipment.

Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications - Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Below are the minimum requirements of the education, experience, knowledge, and skills required to competently perform in this position. High school diploma/GED or equivalent

Requires ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write notes and memos. Must possess math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.

Must demonstrate ability to speak clearly to be understood in one-on-one conversations, hear, and see close vision, distance vision, color acuity, depth perception and focus to recognize product quality variances.

Requires physical ability to climb stairs, bend, sit, stand, walk, reach with arms, push, pull and use hands and fingers to feel and handle material for extended timeframes.

Must have ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly and regularly. Includes the ability to stoop, squat, crawl and kneel as needed.

Requires strong problem solving skills to assess product output relative to specifications.

Requires basic computers and operating systems knowledge

Supports an optimized production environment by applying the principles of Lean Manufacturing and 5S

Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
