**Currently we are looking for a PART TIME/CONTRACT caregiver to assist our client in his home.**
**SHIFTS ARE: MONDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY: 10 AM TO 2 PM, Some other days for doctor appts**
* **Male client**
* **TASKS: light housekeeping, grocery shopping & doctors appts, companionship, laundry & bed linens. No personal care.**

**Responsibilities**
* Remind clients to take prescribed medication
* Transfer and ambulation assistance (around the house or outside (doctors appointments, walks etc.)
* Assist with personal care and hygiene
* Plan and prepare meals
* Complete clients shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
* Light housekeeping
* Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
* Companionship
* Transportation to and from appts, shopping, outings
**Qualifications**
* Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
* Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
* Valid drivers license and reliable transportation every single day
* Able to pass Abuse Registry, Criminal background and Motor Vehicle background checks
* Able to pass drug test
* Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
* Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
* Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
* Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
