**Description**

**Essential Functions and Responsibilities:**

- Plan and prepare the daily workload for cycle count associates.

- Provide daily direction and guidance to cycle count associates based on priorities set by the Inventory Supervisor.

- Work closely with Department Managers and Facility Manager to determine needs in each area.

- Ensure the cycle count team is informed of all new policies, procedures and Company information.

- Train, schedule and communicate the daily activities to inventory personnel.

- Perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments.

- Update and communicate all cycle count results and adjustments to management.

- Support all Salt Life operations departments to ensure Company goals are met.

- Review and respond to inventory reports in order to manage and reduce shrinkage, cost and lost time due to inventory discrepancies..

- Ensure assignments are completed in a safe and timely manner.

- Strive to maintain and improve inventory accuracy.

- Demonstrate schedule flexibility to meet Company goals.

- Demonstrate understanding of Company human resources and safety policies and procedures and ensure they are followed by all associates.

**Other Duties and Responsibilities:**

1. Perform all other duties as assigned

**Working Conditions:**

1. A stand up job with walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, stooping, crouching, bending, reaching above shoulders, twisting, and kneeling as needed.

2. Physical environment includes noise, heat, cold, and dust.

3. Working in high traffic areas.

**Job Requirements:**

- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

- One to two years of experience in a high volume, fast paced distribution environment with inventory and operations experience

- Ability to read, write and speak English

- Personal computer skills including electronic mail, word-processing, spreadsheets.

- Knowledge of Blue Cherry preferred

- Ability to perform counts using basic arithmetic skills

- Forklift certification preferred

- Detail oriented, accurate and ability to handle multiple tasks

- Ability to analyze data to identify potential problems or discrepancies

- Must be able to communicate effectively with Management and others in order to deliver timely and accurate information

- While performing day to day task, the associate is regularly required to stand, bend, and walk for long periods of time and regularly lift no more than 50 lbs

- Work overtime as required
