POSITION SUMMARY:
The forklift Operator is responsible for the loading and unloading or trucks and trailers in a timely and safe manner, verifying and or supplying receipt documentation. In additions this role will also stock products in the yard; including, loading, unloading, staging, and inspection of all inbound/outbound shipments and verifying documentation for accuracy. The Forklift Operator will also perform daily safety inspections on material handling equipment to minimize down time and repair costs.
Duties & Accountabilities: - Collaborate with teams such as Shipping and Receiving, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales Coordinators etc.
- Unloading trucks, inspecting, and stocking of incoming pipe and materials.
- Verifying and or supplying receipt documentation.
- Stocking pipe products in the yard.
- Loading, staging, inspecting outgoing shipments and verifying documentation for accuracy.
- Performing pertinent daily safety inspections on material handling equipment to minimize down time and repair cost
- Maintains a clean work area by general cleanup of the immediate work area daily.
- Follows safety regulations and company guidelines.
- Other duties as required

Qualifications: - Valid Forklift certification with minimum 2 years of Forklift experience (preferably with Load Capacity: 10,000 -20,000 lbs)
- Experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Possess basic computer skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to operate tools (saw & drill)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted.
- Be a team player and assist with other responsibilities as assigned
