The Seasonal Golf Golf Course Maintenance Worker is responsible for assisting with mowing and maintenance of the golf course grounds. This is a temporary position. Hours may range from 12-30 hours per week and will vary from week to week depending on demand and position classification. Shifts will normally be 4-8 hours long 5:30 am - 9:30 am or 5:30 am - 11:30 am Monday through Friday. OR 5:30 am - 2:00 pm (MWF) - Flexible. Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Performs mowing duties on fairways, greens, tee boxes, rough, etc; Watering greens and other areas by hand; Operating weed eater, pruning trees; and laying sod, bunkers, cleaning and removing trash and debris from golf course; Performs course setup for daily play and tournaments.
- Performs cleaning and maintenance in course building; performs painting duties: operates course equipment including riding mowers, push mowers, handheld equipment, utility vehicles and other related equipment.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED FOR SUCCESS:- EDUCATION: No high school diploma or GED required
- EXPERIENCE: No previous experience required
- LICENSE: A valid Kansas driver's license is required
- OTHER: Must be at least 17 to apply
