**Warehouse Associate-New York** RCN, a growing leader in telecommunications is seeking dynamic individuals to join our New York Warehouse team in the role of Warehouse Associate. We are a "Triple Play Provider (cable, internet, phone)" offering superior customer service to our residential clients. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, creative, self-motivated with ability lead and motivate others!

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**
* The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter with strong verbal communication skills in order to provide general warehouse and distribution support.
* Receives, stocks and issues materials as needed by technicians.
* Load and unload delivery and supply vehicles.
* Assist in monitoring inventory levels, conducting cycle counts and physical inventories.
* Deliver and pickup materials from other locations, in and out of state travel.
* Ability to perform one, some or all of the following functions: test, screen, clean, activate, set top converters, modems, and any similar equipment.
* Remove bad equipment from inventory and prepare for return to manufacturer or repair facility.
* Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle accounts, and physical inventories.
* Ability to drive large warehouse delivery vehicle.
**Education & Experience:**
* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
* Minimum one (1) year of Warehouse Technician or related experience necessary.
**Other Preferred Job Specific Skills & Requirements:**
* Ability to lift 75 pounds is necessary.
* Valid drivers license is necessary.
* Computer literate is necessary.
* Ability to operate a forklift is required for some markets.
* Ability to do CPE work as outlined above.
* Will also require driving warehouse box truck to deliver and pick up items.
* Ability to work overtime and weekend work.
