** Position Description**
**Inventory Control Clerk** Location **MTD Products Inc - Columbus, OH** Job Code **3107** # of openings **1** **Purpose:**
The purpose of an Inventmy Control Clerk is to maintain production, receiving, and inventmy controls in collaboration with Cycle Counters to ensure the accuracy of all inventmy within the facility.
**Responsibilities / Authority:**
* Identify, vedfy, and conect issues related to: shipping/receiving, or inventory
* Complete data ent1y processes including, but not limited to: Mapics, WM manifests, & inventory adjustments
* Conduct parts traceability actions for items in stock to resolve inventmy discrepancies
* Assist with the training of new and incumbent associates
* Pe1form routine maintenance for department systems
* Notify vendors of inconsistencies associated to documentation, quantity, or quality
* Verify invoices and packing slips for accuracy and completeness
* Collaborate with internal and external vendors
* Compliance to all MTD policies and procedures
**Minimum Qualifications:**
* Minimum of one year expetience with data entry and inventory control processes
* Must have a working knowledge of facility production and processing pertaining to: raw mate1ial, production processes, quality control, shipping/receiving and cost
* Working technology skills, such as: Mapics, Microsoft Office Suite, Janus guns, and High Jump software
* Understanding of how to navigate and utilize IQS and the supplier portal
* Must be self-motivated with exceptional organizational skills
* Need to possess good problem sensitivity
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to provide professional customer and personal services
Proven ability to complete mathematical operations
