We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic team at a leading golf cart service company. Spherion Staffing of Lake and Sumter County has openings for Inventory Clerks to join a busy Golf Cart Service Department located in The Villages.
As an Inventory Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate record-keeping, and smooth operational flow. If you have a strong ability to follow directions, physical strength to lift up to 50 lbs, and a keen eye for details, we encourage you to apply for this position.
These are temp-to-hire positions. The schedule is Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm with a starting pay rate of $14.50 per hour. Worksite may vary at four different service locations in The Villages.
Responsibilities:
-Maintain accurate inventory records of golf cart parts, equipment, and accessories.
-Receive, inspect, and count incoming inventory shipments to verify accuracy against purchase orders.
-Organize and categorize inventory items to ensure easy accessibility and quick retrieval.
-Perform routine inventory audits to identify discrepancies, reconcile stock levels, and report any issues to the supervisor.
-Assist in unloading and storing inventory deliveries in designated storage areas.
-Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
-Previous experience in inventory management, preferably in an automotive or service-related industry.
-Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with customers and co-workers.
