Hoffmann Group USA is seeking an experienced **Logistics/Warehouse Specialist** for the Knoxville, TN location. The Logistics/Warehouse Specialist will perform an array of functions that include receiving and processing incoming shipments, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse and repackaging orders to ship to customers.

**Essential Functions:**

* Monitoring of all domestic and/or international transportation requests to ensure on time deliveries of customer orders.

* Verifying that customer shipments have arrived on time and in satisfactory condition.

* Communicate with sales team and other internal customers regarding the status of shipments, and update customers with delivery status for all orders.

* Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking the merchandise.

* Resolve client issues and complaints.

* Review freight and duty invoices for accuracy.

* Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to organizational standards.

* Manage US warehouse inventory.

* Open and repackage crates and containers and prepare to ship out to customers according to schedule. Pack, seal and prepare materials for shipping using work devices such as hand tools, power tools and office equipment.

* Inventory returns and stock items

* Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work station neat; sweep, dust and mop.

* Wear the proper safety equipment.

* Perform special projects as needed and assist in other duties assigned.

**Education and Experience:**

* High School diploma or equivalent; degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred

* 2-3 years of warehouse experience

* Good decision making skills

* Good communication, organizational, time management skills

* Proficient in Excel and Microsoft

* Fork lift and other warehouse equipment certified preferred
