The Warehouse Inventory Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, processing incoming and outgoing shipments, and organizing warehouse space efficiently. This role involves meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Major Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage inventory accuracy
  • Utilize tools to help manage inventory (This could be tools such as Excel, Smartsheets, or WMS)
  • Participate and manage quarantine area for grading, re-bundling material, smart part number assignment, and other requirements.
  • Assist with process and inventory accuracy for warehouse material purchases and "pop-up" warehouses
  • Execute cycle counting
  • Work with Sales and Accounting teams to provide them accurate information on inventory
  • Assist in pulling work orders
  • Daily inventory processes
  • Work towards continuous improvement
  • Work with all APEX warehouses to establish SOPs and best practices for inventory
  • Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly action plans that increase inventory accuracy and reduce inventory discrepancies
  • Participate in cross-functional projects impact inventory and warehouse operations
  • Determine root causes of inventory discrepancies and execute on solutions
  • Collaborate with operations on procedures and processes around inventory management
  • Assist with needs of other departments and duties to help move company projects and objectives forward
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time if required
Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to consistently maintain organization in a fluid environment
  • Ability to perform job duties while using various forms of Personal Protective Equipment such as steel toe shoes, hard hat, safety shield, etc...
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical computations with speed and accuracy
  • Ability to adhere to company procedures and rules
  • Drug Test and Background Check
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly perform work in an environment with some exposure to noise, varying temperatures, smoke, etc...
  • Regularly stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, up to a full 8-hour shift
  • Regularly get in and out of a Forklift Vehicle
  • Frequently use two hands to lift to 50 lbs as well as manipulate product and equipment which may require reaching above shoulders or kneeling to work at ground level etc...
  • Occasionally climb ladders to get items off high shelves or other locations
Other Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a related field a plus
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications a plus
  • Flexible and approachable
  • High Level of Self-Motivation
  • Have a "teachable" mindset
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
