$22.12 - $33.17 an hour - Full Time, days. 40 hours a week.
+$2.50/hr for the occasional Saturday shifts.
Boulder Community health is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer responsible for the smooth operation of physicians clinics within CU Sports Medicine and Performance Center. Clinic duties include, but are not limited to greeting patients, gathering and reporting significant history, securing physician-ordered intervention, placing orders and referrals, preparing patients for injections, home exercise program instructions, casting and cast removal, splinting, durable medical equipment and brace fitting, and coordination of patients through the system.

Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters in Athletic Training
Athletic Trainer Board of Certification (BOC) required.
Colorado Athletic Trainer license (DORA) required.
BLS certification (AHA) required by the end of the conditional period.

Responsibilities:
Direct patients to appropriate treatment room, performs appropriate patient intake depending on the patient's practitioner.
Provide patient teaching when appropriate.
Assist physicians and PT staff with patient treatment as appropriate, within scope of their practice.
Assist with implementation of physicians orders (i.e., x-rays, MRI's, CT scans, ultrasounds, physical therapy)
Prepare and assist with injections.
Removal of sutures.
Casting, splinting, brace fitting/durable medical equipment.
Create and instruct patients on home exercise programs.
Schedule appointments and procedures.
