OpSource has partnered with a machining company located in Westminster, SC.

Pay for the position:

• $90K - $110K annually

DIRECT HIRE

Job requirements for the position may include:

• Drives capital projects from strategic planning phase through purchase, installation, run off and hand off to operations.
• Directs master technicians engineering technicians and leads technicians' projects and priorities.
• Improves current machine tools to increase uptime, improve quality and increase productivity.
• Provides engineering support to production equipment and processes, including advising maintenance.
• Trains associates on new technologies and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain Plant layout and manage Mid-term strategy for process.
• PFMEAs: understand the use of PFMEAs within our organization; develop, maintain and review PFMEAs as needed/required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the position:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required.
• Minimum three plus (3+) years of experience in controls engineering, PLC programming, or related field.
• Position requires technical knowledge in machine function, processes, control system, CNC, PLC, servo drives, stepper motor drives and electrical/electronic systems.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Complete core classes of Achieve Global.
• Experience in continuous improvement activities will be considered a plus.
