**Warehouse Worker - Split Shift**
Warehouse Greensboro, North Carolina Minimum Experience **Mid-level** Compensation **$17/hour, generous time off package, after 90 days: medical insurance, dental insurance, 401(k) with company match** Note: vaccination for Covid-19 is required for this position.
Shift hours are 12pm - 8pm, Monday through Friday
Training is first shift (7am - 3:30pm) for two weeks
Warehouse Workers are responsible for collectively working together with peers and managers to increase customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receive/store materials, as well as pick, pack, and ship orders in a timely manner that meets or exceeds our customers' expectations.
* Prepare and stage orders in appropriate area for delivery or customer pickup
* Follow all internal procedures or special instructions pertaining to preparation and staging of orders
* Receive materials from suppliers, as well as customer equipment by properly inspecting material against paperwork received with equipment or material.
* Put away all materials and/or equipment in their properly designated locations in a timely manner.
* Communicate positively with fellow workers, supervisors, and customers
* Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks and report discrepancies to supervisor or their designate
* Responsible for keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently
* Process returned materials and equipment according to internal procedures.
* Adhere to all established company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
* Present a neat and professional image at all times
* Assist in keeping facility secure
* Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required
* Other duties as assigned
P erformance will be reviewed after a 90 day trial period , at which time continued employment will be evaluated. Employees will be provided an employee handbook, documentation, training, and performance feedback during that time frame as part of on-boarding. If we have confirmed that you are able to meet all job requirements, you will be eligible to receive all normal and customary benefits offered to regular full time employees as outlined in the employee handbook. This trial period does not in any way modify the at-will status of an employment relationship with NWS.
