What to expect as a Production Coordinator

Production Coordinators help to ensure the day to day activities of for Blow Molding and Injection production run smoothly. This position works with the Warehouse team to ensure shipping and logistical issues are addressed as necessary. Coordinators monitor quality, production, safety, supplies, member performance and critical items for the production day. Coordinators guide corrective action as needed.

The position will also ensure a safe and secure environment is maintained for all members by heightening safety awareness through the training and feedback of safe working techniques and housekeeping practice. Coordinators will also review the performance of direct reports and use excellent interpersonal skills to coach, teach and motivate others. Production data will be entered into computer system daily.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred. In lieu of degree, must have at least three years of supervisory experience in a high-speed automated manufacturing plant. Must have mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills and have good written and verbal communication skills.
