**Title:** Financial Analyst
**Reports To:** CEO
**FLSA Status:** Exempt
One of our essential financial partners with a mastery of numbers and business-driven insights. Truly a broad-based contributor to a small team with significant influence over our future path and an ability to wrap our hands around meaningful business opportunities and issues and help us build a distinctive, impactful and productive.
**What youll own:**
* Analyses of business and financial data.
* Creates financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making.
* Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
* Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.
* Evaluates capital expenditures and depreciation.
* Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.

* Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that is making itself fit for growth and needs a driver and innovator as a key finance partner across the business.
* Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.
* Thorough understanding of project management.
* Detailed knowledge of accounting rules and an ability to drive a clean general ledger/monthly close/reporting process.
* Excellence in business planning, budgeting, forecasting and translating strategy to resource plans.
* Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
* Commitment to excellence and high standards.
**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:**
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. MBA preferred.
* 5-8 years of professional experience as an accountant, auditor, financial analyst or similar role.
* A financial expert with previous restaurant experience and/or multi-unit experience, is a plus.
* Must have proven proficiency in excel.
