Full-Time in Chico, CA **Inventory Specialist**

DigitalPath, Inc. is excited to offer this new position for a motivated and goal-oriented individual to join our Manufacturing/Production Team. The Inventory Specialist will maintain the organizations inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements. The ideal applicant(s) will be organized, with an eye for detail. ***Minimum Essential Duties Inventory Specialist:***

* Maintains consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limit as inventory dwindles.

* Establishes and maintains backup source for high-demand items.

* Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.

* Provides inventory reports to purchasing and inventory control manager.

* Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.

* Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.

* Manages and maintains inventory system.

* Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.

* Assists with periodic physical inventory audits.

* Operates forklift truck when necessary.

* Performs other related duties as requested.

***Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Qualifications Inventory Specialist:***

* Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing department, and outside vendors.

* Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.

* Proficient keyboarding skills.

* Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.

* Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.

* Ability to perform basic math calculations.

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

* Experience with computerized inventory systems required.

* Forklift operator certification preferred.

***Job Conditions Inventory Specialist:***

* Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at a time.

* Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.

* Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the site.

* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on computers and production/manufacturing equipment.

* Ability to bend, twist, stoop, squat, push, pull, grip, and lift throughout the day.

* Visual acuity to inspect products and machinery.

* Sit and twist (neck or waist) for extended periods of time 8 or more hours per day.

* Frequently walk/stand/bend/squat (3-6 hours per day).

* Occasionally climb/kneel/crawl (up to 3 hours per day).

* Constant use of hands 8+ hours per day including repetitive use, simple grasping, fine manipulation, and keyboarding.

* Frequent use of hands (up to 6 hours per day) including power grasping, pushing, pulling, and reaching (both above and below the head).

**Wages and General Information:**

Starting pay $17-18/hr. depending on experience (DOE). We are willing to have an open dialogue about wage. Full-time employee benefits include: Health and Dental group insurance, Life Insurance, a Vision Reimbursement Program, Free Residential Internet Service (if you reside in the coverage area), 401k - currently 4% employer match, PTO, and Holiday pay. Medical benefits available on the 1st of month after your start date. Part-time employees receive California Sick Leave. All employees have access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
