Abeka Academy Academic Customer Service

The Academic Customer Service Agent communicates first-hand with customers via telephone calls, emails, and chats. The Agent will process paper and/or digital student course work, carefully documenting information and grades under clearly defined, uniform procedures. The Agent handles and resolves complex grading issues and provides oversight of assigned office areas.

Grade Course Work
Process student course work by grading papers and/or digital assessments with at least 85% accuracy. Accurately document grades and other pertinent information where necessary.

Assist Other Graders
Assist general graders by handling and resolving complex student work issues.

Answer Customer Calls
Provide additional academic assistance by assisting with incoming customer telephone calls, maintaining the given goals of 98% calls answered, average talk time of 5 minutes, and availability time of 75% or more.

Assist with Office Duties
Oversee office flow of various grade levels. Answer chats and/or emails. Perform additional office duties as assigned.

Education
College Degree, HS (Required)

Work Experience
1+ years in computer applications, 1+ years of teaching with Abeka

Physical Requirements and Skills
Computer literate, Microsoft Applications, Oral Communications, Verbal and written English fluency, Willing to learn department-specific programs, Written Communication
