RectorSeal is seeking an Inventory Control specialist to join our Fall River team. As a critical part of our growing team, you will be involved in all aspects of inventory control in our fast-paced manufacturing operation. This is a full time 40/week 1st shift position.
RectorSeal manufactures and/or distributes a variety of chemical and mechanical products for the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing industries. For over 80 years, RectorSeals customers have depended on us for quality products with excellent value, shipped to them in a timely manner. This passion for excellent customer service is the reason RectorSeal has been growing at a very fast pace, and now requires additional staff to meet customer demand. The 1st Shift Inventory Control Specialist will direct cycle counts, ensure procedural compliance, and lead physical inventories along with all other functions necessary to maintain inventory accuracy safely, productively, and on time in accordance with our customer-focused core values.
**Responsibilities:**
* Ensure adherence to compliant inventory movements, transfers and record keeping in order to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy
* Administer cycle counting and corrective actions plans throughout the plant
* Interface with production to resolve consumption and BOM related issues
* Analyze, investigate, and correct inventory discrepancies
* Lead role in the biannual physical inventory Process
* Offer technical expertise to cross functional project teams
**Requirements / Skills:**
* 5+ years' experience in Inventory, Distribution or Supply Chain
* Solid Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing processes
* Excellent ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with business partners, including senior leadership
* Excellent safety record
* Experienced user of MS Office suite
* Solid understanding of math
* ERP Systems familiarity (JD Edwards a plus but not required)
* Supervisory skills a plus but not required
