We are looking for an enthusiastic inside sales team member, who has a passion for delivering winning results in a fast-paced organization. The team member will support an effective customer outreach plan that will ensure sustainable growth. He/she should have experience in customer communications in all forms (in-person, phone, email, etc.). Examples of the expectations of each inside sales team member: ensure the customers experience exceeds expectations, achieve their territory performance goals in sales, and profitability. The inside sales team member will need to be comfortable working in a results-oriented company. Also, the team member should be able to clearly articulate how he/she can support the companys efforts to improve from good to great. **LOCATION:** Montross, VA / Lavonia, GA
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Improve the customer experience in a manner that generates an upper quartile Net Promoter Score
* Review customer order patterns and the regional demand to make suggestions regarding additional opportunities to improve sales
* Visit customers within your territory once per month to offer support and review growth opportunities
* Develop initiatives to increase sales in your territory. Manage and routinely report on the initiatives to ensure successful implementation and that we are on track to meet expectations
* Update a daily, weekly, monthly dashboard to ensure the effectiveness of your territory efforts
* Work across a broad cross-functional team to support the planning, opening and development of new stores/locations
* Lead data driven activities in your territory with an emphasis on metrics, lead development, lead nurturing, and relationship management using CRM (Salesforce) and Sales Cloud
* Increase brand awareness with customers while ensuring we understand the territorys competitive landscape
* Serve as the territory liaison with all key stakeholders to proactively develop and communicate campaign overviews, timelines, status, metrics, etc., to align with company strategic objectives and sales goals
* Support and collaborate with other team members on marketing initiatives, various campaigns and ad hoc projects and requests
* Collaborate with the management team across the company and customers to establish sales
* Understanding sales channels, tools, and analytics, necessary to optimize regional performance
* Experience in durable goods distribution and/or retail sales, multi-location is a plus
* Ability to build project plans and schedules, including budging and tracking financial impacts
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
* Work well under pressure and effectively prioritize responsibilities (time management)
* Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)

* B.S. degree or equivalent experience/education combination in Sales or Business
* Preferably has experience in an industrial product
* Minimum of 5 years of related experience
* Must be willing to travel 25 30%
