AddThis Sharing Buttons We currently have a vacancy for an Apprentice to join our team as a Warehouse Operative working at our Kettering depot. The successful candidate will be required to work as part of the operations team - carrying out warehouse duties, vehicle loading / unloading & bulk product handling.

We will provide full training and in this role it will require an enthusiastic approach, always working in a professional and safe manner. Working hours alternate weekly shifts of 6 am 2 pm / 11 am 7 pmMon - Fri, but some weekend & evening working may be required.

This is an 18 month Fixed Term Contract with a starting salary of 14,000 with incremental increases at 6; 12 and 18 months subject to satisfactory progress with your apprenticeship and performance.

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship you will become a full time warehouse operative & fall in line with the Warehouse Operative salary at that time (Currently 21,930)

Responsibilities:

* Receiving packed deliveries

* Loading / unloading vehicles

* Carry out fork lift truck activities around the warehouse & yard areas

* Assist with monthly stock checks

* To work extended hours, long days and weekends when required

* To understand the nature and hazards in the handling and carriage of bulk liquids

* Receiving bulk lubricants into the internal tank farm ensuring that strict quality processes are adhered to

* Carry out oil sampling processes

* Prepare vehicle loads in line with daily demand

* Carry out quality checks on empty packaging

* To carry all required and relevant paperwork, documentation at all times
