**Job Details**

**Summary:** Receives incoming shipments of products into warehouse for storage. Unloads incoming product from trailers using forklift and visually inspect shipments. Labels product per company standards. Maintains inventory accuracy by comparing vendor inventory sheet or purchase order to product received for accuracy and inventory control. Performs physical counting of inventory and accurate data entry. Cross trains and is proficient in warehouse loading procedures so as needed, can assist the warehouse team members in the loading of the trailers.

**Receiving**

* Assist in scheduling incoming freight

* Receive incoming freight into the warehouse and unload incoming product from delivery trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts (as needed)

* Visually inspect product

* Using safe work procedures, open bales, crates, and other containers to unload product

* Count items received and shipped and check against packing lists while recording any discrepancies

* Operate RF scanners to verify materials

* Confirm and records the receipt of shipments

* Move materials throughout Warehouse facility to get them to the correct floor, cart, or bin locations

* Uses First In, First Expire (FIFE) procedure to ensure proper rotation of existing stock and provide space for new stock

* Prepare shipping - receiving reports and notes any shortages or damages for accounting, reimbursement and record keeping purposes.

* Perform activities to monitor and maintain inventory control of merchandise or materials, including working closely with WRC Inventory/Replenishment team

* Conduct cycle counting on identified items daily, and full count quarterly

* Assist Team Leader with being audit and 5s ready at all times

* Alert Warehouse Team Leader to any discrepancies in product quality and amounts received

* Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader and/or Director

**Process incoming shipments**

* Take digital pictures of damaged product, verify material receipt against manifest/paperwork

* Resolve issues as required

* Data entry into RF scanner, and traceability system

* Move material into storage location using forklift and/or pallet jacks, scissor lifts, etc.

* Meet daily quotas

* Schedule incoming shipments from vendor or 3 rd party carriers according to receiving hours

**QC outbound material as it is received**

* Material handling and tracking

+ Locate material in physical pallet storage area

+ Organize and arrange material to maximize storage space

+ Ensure no material is damaged as it is placed throughout the warehouse

+ Update traceability system as required

+ Stage material going to work areas

* Route materials to the proper functional areas (Pick slot, break down, scanning, and Inventory)

* Provide weights and dimensions for Shipping and Logistics for outgoing palletized material

* Commodity material handling

+ Stage, weigh, and label outgoing commodities

+ Maintain commodity database accurately

* Outgoing shipments

+ Stage material for outgoing shipments

+ Complete outgoing Bill of Lading

* Assist with loading trucks as needed and customer pick-ups

* Demonstrate continuous effort to:

+ Improve operations

+ Decrease turnaround times

+ Streamline work processes

+ Work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service

* Follow procedures and exercise independent judgment in maintaining the routine flow of work

* Understand processes, procedures, and company policy

* Compliance with all company security policies and procedures

* Occasional mandatory overtime

**Qualifications**

* Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs., frequently and 100 lbs. on occasion, perform heavy pushing/pulling of product, work in refrigerated and freezer conditions <33-38 degrees>, and work in environment with exposure to loud machinery, when necessary

* Frequently required to reach with hands and arms over head

* Must be able to push/pull 100 pounds using a pallet jack

* Must use and /or wear required safety equipment at all times

* Operate forklift for extended periods of time
