1st Shift Machinist with Great Pay

Our client in Warren is looking for a Machinist to join their team!

Shift:

• 1st Shift, Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 3:30PM

Pay:

• $19.00 - $25.00 / hour, based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Forms / shapes material
• Operates lathes, drill presses, mills, routers, grinding machines, duplicating, and profile machines
• Includes machinists, machine operators, and apprentice
• Works from drawings / written instructions to create replacement / new parts in making repairs to metal parts
• Requires basic knowledge of various metals / measurements used in machining processes
• Performs housekeeping of machine / work area
• Performs daily maintenance check of machine

Requirements:

• High School / GED
• 2-5 years of experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude required
• Valid Driver's License
• Crane / Forklift: in-house training provided to obtain certification
• Proper use of Safety Equipment such as Safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses and gloves
• Proper use of tools such as inside / outside micrometers, depth micrometer, calipers, bore gages and other general hand tools
