One based in Salt Lake City, UT, and one based in Des Moines, e help build the coolest convenience experience on the planetMaverik/Kum & Go is excited about adding two Fuel Distribution Managers to our team As the Fuel Distribution Manager you'll assist with the day-to-day wholesale fuel distribution needs for Maverik and Kum & Go retail locations. If you're experienced in Supply Chain and ready for a new challenge this role will harness those skills through supporting all aspects of fuel distribution from procurement through invoice reconciliation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Create daily supply plan for Maverik or Kum and Go retail locations within an assigned geographical area.Coordinate with logistics partners on execution of daily supply municate consistently with fuel supply partners on pricing, allocation, and any current or planned supply disruptions.Manage supply contracts in assigned geographical area, including but not limited to monthly nominations, reporting mutual performance and compliance objectives, initiating RFP processes, fuel accounting setups, loading number and carrier clearances.Track commodities markets to understand trends and impacts to fuel supply.Troubleshoot loading issues between carrier, supplier, and terminal.Provide a daily review and audit of the actual execution vs. supply plan and provide necessary feedback to logistics partners on opportunities.Assist fuel accounting with any invoice reconciliation issues.Be a subject matter resource for fuel software systems, including but not limited to LPM, Gravitate, AXXIS, DTN ProphetX, Swift, TMS, etc.Maintain trade relationships and represent Maverik and Kum and Go at trade associations and events as assigned.Coordinate fuel quality issues with Senior Fuel Distribution Manager and Supply Director.Review weekly run-out report with logistics partners to reduce future instances.On-Call Weekend/Night Availability for geographical region.Qualifications: Education Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, supply chain, accounting, or equivalent experience in a commodity market preferredQualifications: Experience Strong communication skills with internal and external customersCreative thinking that allows for flexibility in the execution of plansMust be able to make time sensitive decisions for short, mid, and long-term strategies.Strong analytical skills with understanding of Excel encouraged.Good negotiating skills with attention to detailsQualifications: CompetenciesExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skillsPractice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or directionA history of taking the initiative to identify and solve work-related problemsProven ability to effectively prioritize and balance competing needs
