Responsibilities:
- Under the direct supervision of the MaintenanceDirector, our Maintenance Assistant oversees the Community safety program andmaintains a secure resident home and working environment in compliance withpolicy and regulations
- Sustains a preventative maintenance program tomaintain proper functioning of all Community equipment, plumbing, electrical,and HVAC systems
- Completes all maintenance requests, bothscheduled and emergency, quickly and efficiently
- Performs exterior maintenance duties
- Performs fire and disaster drill activities withresidents and team members
- Engages with residents in a compassionate andimpactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where thevalues of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction
Qualifications: - High school graduate or GED equivalent required
- Experience in HVAC systems and/or electricalrequired
- Prior Senior living experience desired
- Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal, writtenand verbal communication skills
