****About the Job:****
**The Kitchen Technician will work to assist Kitchen Supervisor to create and perfect Holistics recipes and formulas for marijuana infused products.**
* **Work with and temper chocolate**
* **Infuse filling, fill molds, and finish and package chocolate**
* **Accurately measure, weigh, and count all products and materials**
* **Infuse, cook, pour, and process infused candies and baked goods**
* **Precisely follow all Holistic SOPs and recipes for all products**
* **Perform a series of preventive and general maintenance tasks on production equipment and tools**
* **Populate and maintain batch records specific to production batch**
* **Monitor environmental controls to ensure kitchen sanitation and cleanliness**
* **Track and maintain supplies and product inventory levels**
* **Mark and label containers, tags, and products using provided logs**
* **Properly use and maintain all tools and equipment**
* **Clean all containers, materials, supplies, work areas, and other areas using designated cleaning solutions and tools**

* **Physical Requirements of the Job: VERY LABOR INTENSIVE. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 75 pounds (125 pounds with assistance), may include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching. Moderate to loud exposure to noise level.**
****About You:****
**General**
* **Due to state regulations, qualified candidates for this position must be able to pass a background check certain criminal convictions may disqualify candidates based on state marijuana licensing regulations.**
* **Holistic Industries hires at least 21 years of age and up.**
**Education/Experience:**
* **High school diploma or GED.**
* **Previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in licensed facilities.**
* **Experience in food manufacturing operations (preferably chocolate).**
* **ServSafe Food Handler Certification.**
** Technological Skills:**
* **Ability to use standard office equipment, basic computer skills.**
**Required Knowledge and Skills:**
* **Understanding and adherence of FDA regulations.**
* **Understanding and adherence of OSHA guidelines for workplace safety and hazardous chemicals.**
* **Proven track record of good attendance and punctuality.**
* **Detail orientated and ability to communicate effectively.**
* **Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires, and remain calm under pressure.**
* **Strong work ethic and sound judgment.**
* **Must be able to successfully pass a thorough internal and external background check.**
