Dartmouth seeks an accomplished fundraising professional to join its Leadership Giving team. The Managing Director, Special Gifts will manage a select portfolio of individuals capable of demonstrating successful cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major donors in support of Dartmouth College s institutional priorities. The Managing Director will develop approaches and activities that lead to securing current-use and capital commitments of up to $250,000 from prospective donors in the Boston and greater Northeast region.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with six or more years of experience in a complex college or university development operation, or the equivalent as well as an appreciation for the values of a liberal arts education. Demonstrated experience soliciting and closing four, five and six-figure gifts, knowledge of gift planning vehicles and techniques, and a track record of success in meeting goals. Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a capacity to manage a wide range of relationships and situations.

Salary Range: $99,400-$115,000

This position is available for a fully remote work arrangement with preference for East Coast and Central Atlantic region candidates.
