Company offers environmental services (not manufacturing products) Reporting to Purchasing Manager Responsibilities: Work with departments to verify incoming material by comparing identifying information and by counting, weighing and measuring items against bill of lading, invoices and orders. Utilizing the ERP system, maintain inventory records and process receiving and inventory transactions. Monitor and track inventory transactions in accordance with established procedures. Execute releases on standing orders and issue purchase orders for properly authorized requisitions as directed by Purchasing Manager Track and expedite open purchase orders Research and identify potential new sources of supply Receive, unload and inspect all incoming material, reject damaged items, records shortages, etc. 3-5 years experience in shipping, receiving or purchasing required. Opportunity for growth within the Purchasing Team, Operations or Inventory team.
