Description
Duties:
- Fabricate and weld metal components according to blueprints and specifications
- Operate various tools and equipment such as plasma cutters, iron worker, and hand tools
- Assemble fabricated parts using various techniques.
- Read and interpret schematics and diagrams
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in fabrication and welding
- Proficient in the use of hand tools
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Knowledge of different welding techniques including stick welding
- Familiarity with operating overhead cranes or other lifting equipment is a plus
