Town Dock-Maintainence Technician


Job Details

Town Dock is looking to add a Maintenance Technician to our Maintenance team. Together, the team is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Town Dock's buildings, grounds, equipment, vehicles, and vessels to ensure continuous productivity within the business.

The Maintenance Tech reports directly to the Vice President of HR and Safety and is responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining both facilities, as well as the equipment.

Responsibilities: for this position include (but are not limited to):
Work independently and/or with other team members depending on the task.
Maintain cleanliness of the maintenance shop and work areas on the job
Diagnose, repair, and maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment (including pallet
jacks, forklifts and scissor lifts)
Work orders may include, but not limited to mechanical work, plumbing, carpentry,
refrigeration, welding, minor electrical, painting, safety inspections and cleaning.
Conduct preventative maintenance as assigned.
Train on and be able to operate the Ice Plant. This includes running ice production
equipment, conveying equipment, scales, and pumping ice for boats.
Contacting outside vendors as needed, may include researching new vendors.
Research and order parts as needed, travel and pick up parts/equipment as needed.
Maintain DOT, HACCP, OSHA and Food Safety regulations throughout maintenance
responsibilities.
Occasionally the Maintenance Tech is required to answer calls after hours. Call-backs
and/or extended hours are required when needed.
Snow removal, when needed.

This is a full-time position with the opportunity for overtime, plus benefits. Medical, Dental,
