WSB-TV is looking a full-time Local Sales Assistant to support our sales team. In this position you will need to successfully operate in a fast paced, high pressure environment. The ideal candidate will be a key contributor to our sales team's success.
**Duties include but are not limited to the following:**
* Enter TV sales orders into our internal operating system while meeting strict deadlines.
* Maintain schedules and paperwork.
* Resolve any advertiser schedule discrepancies.
* Assist local sales account executives and sales managers with important tasks effectively and efficiently.
* Perform general office duties including answering phones including the switchboard, back up for other assistants and other key clerical duties.
* Updating station materials including media kits, program one-sheets and other sales documents.
* Prepare post campaign reports

* College degree preferred but not required.
* A professional and positive attitude
* Highly organized and possess the ability to switch focus quickly when needed and work on multiple projects at the same time.
* Accurate computer data entry skill and ability.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Excellent written and verbal skills.
* Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, able to act with a sense of urgency and adhere to set deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
* Must be able to work in highly collaborative environment.
* Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
* Strong customer service skills providing quick response time and accurate issue resolution.
* Results-driven and highly accountable.
* Self-directed, motivated, and with exceptional multi-tasking abilities.
