**STOCKROOM CLERK**

**Qualifications:**

* Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

* Years of Experience Required: 2 years of related work experience

* Willingness to work 12 hour shifts

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* Attention to detail

* Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

* Ability to proficiently and safely operate a forklift

* Ability to lift 50 lbs

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Account for all movements of maintenance inventory, tools and equipment with regard company procedures

* Proactively communicate with all departments in professional manner

* Put away and retrieve parts in the most efficient manner

* Stock shelves in such a orderly fashion that ease and speed is ensured when locating the correct part(s)

* Able to solve problems and substitute parts

* Know how to look up parts in a parts book to ensure getting the right part for the job

* Distribute and track two-way radios (Maintenance), tools, and equipment

* Assist Mechanics in an emergency

* Keep record of equipment and supplies that are issued to employees

* Perform all necessary documentation of inventory transaction i.e. issues, returns and cycle counts using the JD Edwards system

* Manage inventory control & security of the Stockroom
