Position: Project ExecutiveReports to: Chief Construction OfficerLocation: Columbus, OHSalary Range: $175,000 - $225,000We take into consideration a number of factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates. The Superior Group also has financial support for mid- and senior-level candidates who require relocation.The Superior Group is looking for a Project Executive to help drive our electrical construction projects forward. The Project Executive is the organization's most senior leader on our jobsites and is responsible for developing, managing, and growing major projects. We rely on you to lead Project Operations personnel, achieve project KPIs, mitigate risk, resolve tough challenges, and work directly with clients, trade partners, and TSG executives.The position directly reports to the VP, Project Operations, serves as a member of TSG's Project Operations team, and interacts regularly with TSG executives to keep leaders informed on project status, risks, opportunities, and financial performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the entire lifecycle of one or several major projects and serve as each project's key decisionmakerSpearhead project kick-off and alignment of departments across TSG, including estimating, finance, technology, engineering, VDC, and prefabricationOversee the financial performance and risk management of each projectReport regularly to the Executive Team on the health of the projects in your portfolioContinually mitigate and manage project risk, and elevate concerns - and solutions - quickly to TSG executivesServe as a strategic partner to clients, nurturing relationships and finding opportunities to take on new workRepresent TSG in principal meetings with clients and subcontractorsWork closely with the SPM, PM, and Superintendent on resolving project challengesServe as a senior leader for the jobsite, and drive the professional development of project team membersUphold a high degree of safety on our work across the jobsiteYour Character TraitsYou're organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detailYou're a great communicator, a team player, and ready to work with colleagues across our jobsites and organizationYou're a leader and are effective at interfacing with customers and executivesYou're skilled in motivating and mentoring junior colleaguesYour ExpertiseYou have 15+ years of experience in commercial project management, including experience on large scale, complex commercial projectsYou earned your Construction Management degree, Engineering degree, Construction ManagementProgram certificate, or another related degreeYou're experienced with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $20M+You're comfortable with presenting during business pitches, company meetings, and industry eventsYou're familiar with crisis management and rapid responseYou have extensive knowledge in construction management and accounting softwareYou are knowledgeable in industry codes, standards, requirements, and methodsOur BenefitsWe offer a range of professional and personal perks that you can enjoy as a member of TSG.
