Fanatics Collectibles is looking for Senior Director of Brand (Product) Marketing for our growing Marketing & Media team. The Senior Director is responsible for developing and implementing the Product Marketing strategy for mainstream sports (e.g. Baseball, Basketball, Football) for Fanatics Collectibles. This position develops systems & evaluation for executing Product Marketing activities for mainstream sports involving: Product Campaigns, Portfolio Campaigns, and Collector Acquisition. The Senior Director provides support and guidance to the direct team, as well as to the Product development teams members in order to deliver best in class experiences.

The deliverables of this position include the following:

Mainstream Sports Brand (Product) Marketing Business Planning development

Consistent and effective guidance to the team in order to activate top performing activities with current and future Collectors.

Ongoing best practice sharing

Ongoing cross functional collaboration focused on positive impact for the Collector.

This position will be responsible for handling a wide variety of duties, which include, but are not limited to the ones listed below:

Strategy & Business Guidance
  • Adapt strategic priorities for Brand (Product) Marketing activities.
  • Grow Collector base through priority activities established for the Marketing Mix
  • Create and share Brand (Product) Marketing best practices throughout the organization.
Brand Marketing Activities
  • Strategic leadership of Product Marketing priorities for mainstream sports, ensuring delivery vs plan.
  • Foster development of and provide guidance to the team in the execution of the activities that positively motivate the Collector.
  • Guides the team towards high impact and efficiency on Collector driven programs.
Trade Marketing
  • Develop premium, engaging and effective programs for trade implementation within mainstream sports.
Business Planning & Budgeting
  • Accountable for the delivery of yearly Product Marketing business plan.
  • Assume responsibility for budget management on Product Marketing initiatives.
Experience Needed
  • 10+ years CPG marketing experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentation.
  • Strong planning, prioritization and project management competencies
  • Creative mind with an attention to detail but also the ability to see the big picture.
  • Demonstrated leadership to inspire and mobilize teams around a common goal while identifying lean, agile solutions
  • Sound strategic thinking capabilities and the ability to anticipate trends and turn insights into action
  • Proven ability to manage timelines and lead high-performing teams.
$212,000 - $271,000 a year
The salary range for this position is $212,000 - $271,000 which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
