Faulkner University's College of Health Sciences is seeking a qualified individual to join the Faculty in the Speech Language Pathology Master's Degree program. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of health care educators to develop and train speech language pathology students in a Christ-centered environment. This individual will design and teach undergraduate and graduate courses, assess student performance, advise students, oversee student research, serve on committees, advise on admission processes, and provide support for the program and college. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.

This is a full-time, 12-month position. Faculty rank, tenure status, and salary will be commensurate with academic qualifications, teaching experience, and research.

Position is scheduled to begin August 2024.

Qualifications:

  • PhD degree in a healthcare related field required; degree in speech language pathology or communication sciences and disorders preferred
  • Primary areas of interest - AAC & neurogenic
  • Current CCC required for Speech Language Pathologist
  • Able to obtain Alabama licensure required
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred
  • Active member of the church of Christ preferred
