****Requirements****
Purpose of Position
* Adds value as Power user with respect to ERP setups & process, change managment and also responsible for supporting OP PRO process design & cotrol.
* The Operational Buyer handles the operational purchasing process and manages relevant catalogues
* This results in contracts being concluded more efficiently, procurement conditions becoming more transparent and the overall procurement process being accelerated
* In the end, this allows LANXESS to realize savings potentials in procurement.
Responsibilities
* Provide support in maintaining & designing ERP set up, OP PRO process design and controls.
* Creates and maintains the supply contract/catalogue
* Processes purchase requisitions, assigns the source of supply and processes the purchase order
* Tracks and checks order confirmations including easy issue resolving (e.g. adjustments); escalation to 2nd level support of GPL
* Coordinates pre-defined complaint types and initiate vendor returns
* Handles issues/adjustments and all kind of trouble shooting in regards to suppliers, requisitioners and deliveries (first level support)
