We are looking for an **Inventory Control Lead** to join our team!

The**Inventory Control Lead** safely, accurately, and productively picks, stacks and stages orders to meet daily deadlines and ensure that we consistently deliver success to our customers.

**In this exciting role, you will:**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

* Achieve the right product, right location, right U/M, and right count for all ASC warehouses

+ Supervise and verify results of departmental responsibilities of the IC personnel

+ Manage work time and schedules to the best advantage

* Maintain total quantity of each SKU in each warehouse

+ Audit and maintain accurate UPC information on all SKUs

+ Update all new SKU slotting in the warehouse

* Responsible for immediate counts, cycle counts, and posting of inventory accounting transactions

+ Cycle count all inventory twice annually

* Investigate and identify root causes (how and why) for inventory shrinkage, including process failures, user error, and data inaccuracy

* Review and recommend warehouse layout improvements

* Direct and coordinate physical inventory

* Work collaboratively with a variety of departments

* Computer knowledge of MS Office Programs Excel, Word, Access, Outlook Math skills for computing ratios and percentages

* Good communication skills

* Plan, organize, and schedule workload to meet deadlines

* Positive attitude, team focus successful working both independently and cooperatively with peers

* Knowledge and practice of safe lifting techniques

**Your education & experience should be similar to:**

* HS diploma or GED, preferred

+ 5+ years of experience related to purchasing distribution; will consider an equivalent combination of education and work experience in lieu of degree

+ Previous warehouse/distribution experience, preferred

+ Training provided to candidates without previous warehouse/distribution experience

+ Electric Pallet Jack experience, preferred

**Working conditions:**

Office and Warehouse environment with variable temperatures/outdoor weather conditions, exposure to noise and vibrations from forklifts/other equipment, will work near moving mechanical parts, such as lifts

**The required physical abilities to perform this job:**

* Walking and standing for most of the shift.

* Some stooping, kneeling and crouching, lifting.

* Reaching and carrying with hands and arms.

* Lifting and carrying 60 pounds, occasionally heavier.

* Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate warehouse tools and equipment.

* Able to hear and speak into telephone.

* Close visual work on computer terminal.

You will have the opportunity be trained on a variety of warehouse equipment and job skills as opportunities arise in the warehouse. The Skill-Based Pay is anywhere between $0.25-$0.50/hr for skills such as Receiver, Reach Truck, and Loaders. *Policies and programs are subject to change.*

Our current Sign-on bonus is available to you when your join our team on or before December 31, 2021. You will be paid your sign-on bonus in two installments: $500 after your initial 90-day introductory period and $500 after successful completion of 180 days of employment. Sign-on bonuses are taxed per IRS regulations.
