Job Description:
As a YogaFit Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high quality, engaging yoga classes that are approachable and follow the YogaFit guidelines. The right candidate will have a passion for yoga, a strong desire to share this excitement with students and a dynamic, upbeat attitude. In addition, you must be able to create a strong community through fun yet powerful yoga experiences.
Principle Job Functions:
- Deliver inspirational and well thought out yoga classes to students of all levels, abilities and backgrounds
- Instruct students on proper form and alignment
- Support studio operations and cleanliness
- Provide superior customer service
- Build rapport and engage students on a daily basis
- Promote the studio and be actively involved in classes, special events and any other studio related happenings
Critical Knowledge/Skills:- Ability to teach a unique and inspiring yoga sequence that is rooted in the YogaFit guidelines
- Basic computer knowledge and understanding
- Strong communication skills
- Outgoing, fun personality with a can-do attitude
Requirements:- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Vinyasa classes, minimum 200 hour certificate required from accredited yoga school
- Fitness classes, group fitness, personal training or barre certification a plus
