**Description**
**Remote Level II Claims Adjuster - Georgia:**
Level II Claims Adjusters at Elephant are our mid to senior level claims adjusters, making this role perfect for individuals with basic claims handling experience who want to take on more responsibilities. They investigate more complex situations in which it not as clear who is responsible and if there is applicable coverage. They are responsible for providing outstanding customer service to our customers by keeping them informed of the claims process every step of the way. They are also responsible for negotiating claims with those involved in an accident, other insurance companies, and at times with attorneys. **This is a full time work from home role but Georgia residency is required.**
**Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:**
* Processes automobile insurance claims by doing the following;
* Interview all parties involved,
* Evaluate policy language for coverage,
* Request and review evidence such as police reports, video, scene photos and damages as well as prior claims,
* Assess liability,
* Take care of first party injury,
* and settle claims
**Required Qualifications for processing automobile claims:**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 2 years or more or recent auto claims handling experience
* Analytical thinking skills in order to properly evaluate complex claims
* A strong attention to detail to carefully review documents and policies
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Strong work ethic and time management skills
* Ability to multi-task
* Superior customer service skills
**Work from Home Requirements:**
* Existing internet access at home.
* Separate dedicated workspace, preferably with a door to avoid distractions.
* If necessary, you will be responsible for arranging childcare services to ensure your working environment is undisturbed, allowing for complete focused attention to detail during working hours.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* College degree
* Experience with Microsoft programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel
