Flamingo Resort is a mid-century marvel in The Valley of the Moon and has been the beacon of leisure. We are looking for a Floor and Outlets Restaurant Assistant Manager for the Flamingo Resort hotel restaurant, the Lazeaway Club. Flamingo Lazeaway Club is a vacation within a vacation, allowing travelers and locals to explore the diverse flavors of the Pacific from a California vantage point.
We are looking for someone that is motivated, hospitable and fun to work with. You should be comfortable in a high-volume environment for weekend brunch, dinner service, and our bustling bar scene. Someone who spreads good vibes is a must!

Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English (speak, read, write) with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision
- Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance
- Able to push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Able to clearly communicate by telephone.
- Able to move continuously during the shift throughout the workspace to perform essential job functions.
- Nights and weekends are a must.
Your role will focus on:
- Overseeing multiple outlets
- Train, coach and supervise food and beverage team members
- Ensuring a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in team members and cleanliness of all food and beverage outlets
- Implementing effective control of food, beverage, and labor costs among all sub-departments
- Monitoring and assessing service and satisfaction trends, evaluating and addressing issues, and making improvements accordingly
- Ensure all hotel policies and procedures are fully implemented, including but not limited to Standard Operating Procedures, Safety and Emergency procedures, and Employee Handbook policies.
- Provide feedback to staff on performance/disciplinary problems through one-on-one sessions and scheduled employee reviews.
- Programming and maintenance of all menu items in the POS
- Assisting in the development of menus for promotional and/or special events
- Maintaining effective communication, giving direction, support, timely feedback and recognition of performance
- Creating a positive environment in which all team members have the ability to maximize their potential
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with team members, guests, local community members, and vendors
- Ensure all F&B staff supports Point Hospitality Group's Mission, Values and Goals.
- Communicate with all hotel departments to ensure a high quality product and service level is delivered to our guests.
- Be available to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Be completely familiar with hotel emergency procedures, and provide, calm, reassuring assistance to guests and fellow employees in the event of an emergency
- Ensure all F&B employees are trained on and comply with company's fire and emergency procedures.
- Conduct all mandatory meetings as directed.
- Various duties and projects as directed by hotel management.
Licensing Requirements:
- Food handling certificate/Serv-Safe certificate
- Responsible Beverage Server Training & ABC certification
