The Buncher Company is currently in search of a proficient Commercial Carpenter to become part of our team based in Pittsburgh, PA, USA! We are in need of an individual with a keen eye for construction methods and the capability to execute smaller projects with efficiency. Succeeding in this position necessitates a positive outlook, perseverance, and excellent communication abilities. As a Commercial Carpenter, your duties will involve constructing and upkeeping frameworks and fixtures, all the while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Construct frameworks and structures according to blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
Renovate office and warehouse spaces using new designs.
Establish building foundations and ensure their completion.
Install doors, windows, drywall, and flooring.
Maintain compliance with health and safety standards while working independently.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience specifically in commercial construction and remodeling projects.
A solid understanding of fundamental mathematical principles is required for this role.
Physical capability to operate hand and power tools, work from heights using ladders or scaffolding, and lift objects weighing over 50 lbs is essential.
Proficiency in driving and operating commercial vehicles including dump trucks, forklifts, and skid loaders is a must.
Skilled in using electrical and manual tools, as well as measurement instruments such as powered saws, hammers, and rulers.
Previous experience in welding would be a valuable advantage in fulfilling the duties of this position.
