Position Title: Outlook Site Technician / Warehouse
* Salt Lake City, UT
* Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00
The OUTLOOK Site Technician will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the OUTLOOK Service Model to include packaged gas deliveries and management programs, establishing safe handling practices, efficient order processing & invoicing, initiating & executing cost reduction programs, reporting and day-to-day customer interface at the customer sites.
The Site Technician will be the first line Airgas representative with the customer for all packaged gases, welding hard goods and safety supplies related issues.
This opening will be for a dedicated technician performing supply chain activities.
Will work 2-3 days per week at customer sites.
Will work 1-2 days per week at the Salt Lake City, UT Branch fulfilling warehouse responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Streamline and manage the ordering process.
Streamline and manage error resolution processes.
Prepare single monthly Invoice for a location.
Cylinders connect/disconnect services.
Manage E-Commerce and EDI/EFT Implementation.
Provide reports for regulatory agencies.
Provide reports for accounting/auditing.
Provide internal cost allocation reports.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues.
Some experience in handling compressed gases.
Some basic knowledge of experience in welding.
Customer service or sales experience.
**Qualifications**
* Safe delivery to stocking locations.
* Ability to obtain a Class C CDL - medical card and Hazmat Endorsement.
* Clean MVR.
* Clean and organize customer storage location(s).
* Manage branch cylinder operation through SOP.
* Order all products as needed and adjust min/max inventory levels as necessary.
* Interface with Customer Service and inform them of changes, additions or deletions to delivery points or orders.
* Provide customer Technical Support for gas and gas delivery equipment.
* Maintain load manifests and all other vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed and balanced with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveries.
* Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
* Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.
* Maintenance and upkeep of onsite vehicles.
* Maintain appropriate drivers license.
* Other duties and projects as assigned.
* Airgas ERP System (SAP).
* Prepare customer review documentation.
* Maintain customer operation manuals
