This Specialist manages all aspects of MRO spare parts inventory to support a pharmaceutical environment using a CMMS system (Maximo) and ERP system (SAP). This includes sourcing, ordering, receipt and stocking of all stock and non-stock items.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  1. Sources all required maintenance materials to support a pharmaceutical environment.
  2. Establishes supplier base to ensure best pricing, delivery of materials, and quality of parts and services.
  3. Creates Purchase Requisitions in ERP system for all stock and non-stock items based on demand.
  4. Receives incoming materials into ERP system and stocks items in appropriate locations.
  5. Ensures timely ordering and receipt of stock items to avoid stock-out conditions.
  6. Establishes strong working relationship with customers ensuring appropriate stock levels and timely delivery of critical inventory items.
  7. Communicates effectively through email, meetings (in-person or Teams), face-to-face conversation with management and peers.
  8. Computer proficiency and ability to maintain accurate and current records required.
  9. Develops and maintains metrics for inventory performance tracking.
  10. Develops plan for inventory levels, using historical data
  11. Monitor, track, and coordinate efforts to reduce inventory carrying costs including stock room organization.
  12. Manages activities associated with cycle count program to ensure SOX compliance.
  13. Actively promote safety rules and awareness. Demonstrate good safety practices at all times including the appropriate use of protective equipment. Report and take initiative to correct safety and environmental hazards.
  14. Actively demonstrate Lantheus values.
  15. Is cross-trained to support Asset Care functions, as needed. This includes, but not limited to: processing Service Requests, procuring material and services for Work Orders, creating Asset and Location records, etc.

Basic Qualifications

  1. Associates Degree or equivalent experience in Inventory Management.
  2. Prior experience with maintenance management systems and processes, preferably Maximo.
  3. Prior purchasing and inventory experience with ERP system, preferably SAP.
  4. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.
  5. Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a standing position for extended periods of time required.
  6. Work in a radiation environment required.
  7. Capable of obtaining a forklift license

  2. May be required to work after hours and weekends, if necessary.
  3. Ability to manage day-to-day responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  4. Knowledge and use of application or software systems including Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, etc.), Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.
  5. Experience multi-tasking while maintaining detail integrity, effective prioritization, and commitment to deadlines.
  6. Ability to problem solve in novel and uncertain situations as it relates to job function.
