**Description**

**Responsibilities:**

In this role, you will have the opportunity to help clients with:

* Medication administration

* Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

* Money management

* Treatment documentation

* Personal cares (such as bathing, toileting, feeding, etc.) in the group homes

* Meal preparation (must be willing to handle all types of food)

* Planning and transportation to/from activities

* Community integration

**Fraser Offers:**

* $500 or $1,000 hiring bonus depending on location

* $15.00-$16.00/hour pay (plus meals on some shifts)

+ Weekend shift differential ($1.00 added to base pay rate for hours worked 10pm Friday through 9am Monday).

- If an employee works overtime in a week where the weekend shift differential is applied, the shift differential rate will be factored into a blended overtime rate.

**Available Locations and Schedules:**

The weekend live-in position works one or two weekends per month, from Friday at 10pm to Sunday at 10pm, with designated sleeping hours on Friday and Saturday nights.

All potential scheduling options will be discussed during the phone interview. In order to help us best evaluate potential matches to our current openings, *please let us know any and all hours you would be available to work*.

**Requirements:**

* High School diploma/equivalent preferred.

* Previous experience working with individuals with diverse needs is preferred, however not required. We offer paid training!

* Valid Minnesota Drivers License with acceptable record.

* Ability to pass DHS background study.

* Use of clear and understandable written and verbal English.

* Capacity to work independently and use strong decision-making skills.

* Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

* Passion for serving our clients.

Direct Support Professional is similar in job duties to PCA, CNA, Direct Support Staff, Program Counselor, Caregiver, HHA, and Direct Care Staff.
