Material Handler
Location: Tonopah, NV (Rotational positions, 14 days on x 7 days off)
Housing, flight, and per diem ($35/day) provided; if candidate drives, maximum 500 miles per way at federal rate; otherwise, flight provided.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operate various lifting machinery (forklifts, pallet jacks, telehandlers).
- Perform maintenance on forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Track and manage inventory.
- Inspect materials before and after shipping for damage or imperfections.
- Refill Pilot Plant chemical tanks and monitor chemical levels and usage.
- Maintain storage and staging areas, adhering to inventory control procedures and housekeeping standards.
- Offload Filter Press-generated sludge waste into dedicated storage bins.
- Organize waste pickups and load flatbed trucks.
- Conduct routine checks on plant air and diesel tank levels.
Requirements:
- Experience in material handling and operating lifting machinery.
- Familiarity with inventory tracking and data entry.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus.
